Volunteering for MMM
Who Can Volunteer?
No special gifts or talents are necessary to be a volunteer! If you are a committed follower of Jesus Christ, are 16 years or older, and you love children, this just might be a place for you to serve. Although it is an added benefit to be bi-lingual, it is definitely not necessary. In fact, most of our workers cannot speak Spanish, and nearly all the children who attend Day Camp prefer English.
What Volunteers Do
Camp operates for four weeks during late Summer, generally from the last week of July through the first couple of weeks of August. Volunteers usually choose one or more weeks to serve and commit to helping in a specific role. Some of these roles include: Counselors, Activity Directors, Bus Drivers, Van Drivers, Cooks, Cook Assistants, Pianists, Nurses, Property Maintenance, Tech and Sound Operators and Babysitters for staff children.
