There is more than one way to give…

Our Needs:

  • Pray!

“Prayer does not fit us for the greater work; prayer is the greater work.” Oswald Chambers

    Pray for:

    • More laborers to partner with us in ministering to the seasonal worker families.

    • The children to grow in their walk with God

    • Us to have wisdom in discipling the children

    • Opportunities to witness to the parents. Their long, exhausting hours in the fields make it difficult to find time to talk.

    • The salvation of the farmers

  • Donate Supplies

In order to operate 4 weeks of Day Camp there are a host of items that have to be purchased. We collect these items during the months of May-July each year. If you’d like to partner with us by off- setting some of these expenses, contact us.

Another possibility is to check with your local Church family and see if they would like to join you in your endeavor of collecting certain supplies on the list. For a more comprehensive list, contact Sophia.

  • Volunteer

Each summer, Day Camp operates for four consecutive weeks, starting the last full week of July and going through the first three weeks of August. In order to sufficiently cover all the bases during a week of Camp, we need 20-25 staff. Could God be calling you to use your gifts and join us for a week or more? Below are listed some of the ways you can be involved:

    • Bus drivers and Bus aides

    • Cooks and Cook assistant

    • Activity Directors

    • Counselors

    • Pianist

    • Nurse

    • Maintenance Help

    • Sound System Operator

      Etc.

  • Adopt a Project

Two of our greatest building needs are a Camp kitchen and a bunkhouse for out of state volunteer staff. Almost since the Camp’s inception, food has been cooked off site and transported to the property. This is a huge burden on our cooks! For several years now we have been setting money aside for this project, but with the rising cost of wood, we are still lacking sufficient funds. Over the years, our staff have graciously put up with less than ideal living quarters, staying in tents, un-air-conditioned campers, and at one time a mosquito ridden, dilapidated house! With the Lord’s help, we’d like to provide a permanent structure to help meet the housing needs of our staff.
